The perfume is long since gone from being on display, and the store is still suspiciously breaking time and space, but you should be too distracted by your fellow shoppers and the lovely assistant.

I don't really know what we can do about a place to stay... I think even if we let you stay here, you would still have to do at least something for the store. And you seem to be a bit against that, by using work as one of the reasons for leaving the second person.

... Alright, if it's my responsibility, then it's my choice. You can stay for now, if you are willing to learn how to do something to help the store, and you try to find somewhere else to stay, as well.

Maybe if this works out, we can work out how to handle your larger desire.

Either helping me to tend to the plants in the greenhouse, cleaning, organizing, or trying to teach you the basics of other skills. Maybe dressmaking or basic accounting.
