We're having a Halloween sale this month at Labirinto. For masks, costumes, ghost story anthologies, Gothic paintings, and fall flowers. We also have pumpkins for sale for people to carve.

::So, welcome to the lovely Labirinto curio shop, decorated for a festive Halloween spirit. Mothers and their children seem to be coming in and out, buying pumpkins and costumes mostly.::

Gearin' up for the holidays, huh?

Basically. Halloween is a holiday that cheers up both parents and children, as it's not the Summer when people think Youkai come out to play. And Duel Spirits seem to enjoy the change to walk around unbound.

Heh, I hear that. I'm hoping to get a distraction from what's been happening, myself.

...Maybe not immediately. But, well, I've been run pretty ragged lately, and Niyo can run SpecInv just fine without me. I figure as soon as the current...erm... 'cases' are wrapped up. I can talk to Shiroko about a vacation.

...I figured things out with regards to 'Ettosyleit'. Now it's just a matter of figuring out how that pieces together with everything else.

She's doing well. Complains a bit about seeming permanently 17 and not garnering much respect from her students, but she's very content and happy, and I'm glad for it.

It's... terrifying in its own regard. But I'm more trying to think about it in logical manner - though I know that 'logic' is in fact contrary to how it works. But how one navigates it, how one survives it. I suppose I'm letting my curiosity and certain issues override my current fear - though, it is terrifying. And the creatures that come from it doubly so.

Sort of. She doesn't mind it, but she also sometimes wishes she didn't seem so young all the time, even though she and I are about the same age.

... You dealt with the creatures from that nightmare and still live?

Usually, that is why a woman wears make-up.

Four of them, yes. The Deamons of Pride, Lust, and Wrath, as well as something called 'Noah', or 'Anti-Hope'. I had a great deal of assistance - and not a one did I deliver the vanquishing blow to myself, but... I believe you of all people know I'm tougher than I look.

While true, makeup for the whole body is a bit of a stretch, don't you think? [He chuckles.]
